Booloop

Privacy Policy

Effective 27 September 2026

Booloop is a puzzle game made by Çağlar Bacanak, an independent developer based in Türkiye ("I", "me"). This policy explains what data the game uses, why, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, write to cglr.games@gmail.com.

In short

1. What the game uses and why

Game data on your device and in iCloud

Your progress (nights finished, stars, moves), coins, hints and swaps, the looks you own, a record of your purchases, Daily Night results and your settings are stored on your device. Where iCloud sync is available and iCloud is turned on for Booloop, the same game data (but not your settings) is also kept in your iCloud account through Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so it can move with you to a new device. I cannot read your iCloud data. A few items stay only on the device, such as your settings and when the last ad was shown.

Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand how the game is played and to balance its difficulty, the game sends events such as: a night started, finished or failed; moves used; stars earned; use of undo, hints and swaps; the tutorial steps; ads offered and watched; shop screens viewed and purchases made (product and price); coins earned and spent; Daily Night results; whether the daily reminder is on and when a reminder is opened. The game also records whether you allowed tracking and whether consent rules apply in your region. With these events Google Analytics collects a random app instance ID, the identifier for vendor, device model, iOS version, app version, language, and an approximate location (country or region) derived from your IP address. The game does not give Google Analytics your advertising identifier.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the game crashes, a report with the technical details of the crash (for example the code location, device model, iOS version and free memory) and a random installation ID is sent so the bug can be fixed.

Remote settings and experiments (Firebase Remote Config)

Some values, such as prices in coins, coin rewards or how often ads appear between nights, can be adjusted without an app update, and different groups of players may receive slightly different values to find what works best. This uses a random installation ID. It never changes the puzzles themselves.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows an ad between some nights and offers optional ads you can choose to watch for a reward. Google may collect device identifiers (the identifier for vendor and, only if you allow tracking, the advertising identifier), your IP address and approximate location, which ads you saw or tapped, and diagnostic information, to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud.

More about how Google uses data: How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Any purchase in the shop turns off the ads between nights. Optional rewarded ads stay available.

Purchases (Apple)

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. The game receives a transaction record (which product, when, and a transaction ID) so it can unlock what you bought and restore it later. Purchase events (product and price) are also counted in analytics. I never receive your name, payment card or billing address.

Daily reminder

If you turn on the Daily Night reminder, it is a notification scheduled on your device; no server sends it. Analytics counts whether the reminder is on and when a reminder is opened, as described above.

Google and Apple may process data in the United States and other countries, using safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Your choices

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you also have the right to object, to ask for data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority.
